Our Story.

Wolid International Services Ltd was founded by Ayanbamiji Oluwole Idowu, leveraging decades of industry experience to redefine shipping and freight forwarding in Nigeria. Established in 1999 as a Freight Forwarding Company, we expanded into full-fledged shipping services by 2007, providing Customs Support, Shipper’s Representation, Cargo Handling, and Logistics Solutions. Our steady growth has been guided by a commitment to Integrity, Professionalism, and Exceptional Service.

We have successfully handled dry bulk cargo at major Nigerian ports, including Lagos, Onne, and Warri, specializing in Fertilizer, Rice, Corn, Bauxite, Sulphur, and General Cargo. As part of Nigeria’s export drive, Wolid International became a key player in bulk soya bean meal exports through ENL Terminal, making us the only company currently managing bulk cargo exports in Apapa Port. With a clear vision for the future, we continue to set new industry standards, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and seamless logistics solutions for our ever-growing clientele.

Our strong team of competent and exceptional individuals is led by our charismatic and dynamic Chief Executive Officer, Mr Oluwole Ayanbamiji who strongly believes in the value of hard work. Mr Ayanbamiji is a seasoned and renowned serial entrepreneur with business activities spanning, Agriculture, Mining, Communication and the Maritime industry

Prior to establishing Wolid International, Mr Ayanbamiji had garnered over 20 years’ experience in the Maritime industry, gaining practical expertise in the field from his work as a Tally clerk, Clearing Clerk, and Clearing Officer.Under Mr Ayanbamiji’s leadership, Wolid International has become one of Nigeria’s leading shipping companies which supports premium companies in Nigeria including Dangote Group, Elephant Group, amongst others.
